Cushendun Biggest Fish Fun Outing
We had a nice turn out for our Xmas "knockup".
Despite calm conditions along a lot of the Antrim shoreline Cushendun had a heavy swell which was pulling big lumps of weed into tide and causing headaches every once in a while.
Fishing didn't really kick off till last hour and two new Federation members won the money.
Experienced matchman Bobby Laughlin took the flattie prize with a 31cm flounder and Graeme Ruddy won the round fish pool with a plump 39cm bass.
Committee members filled half a bin liner with rubbish on the pre match litter walk and couldn't find any rubbish afterwards.
