Last night, 24 Feb saw the second leg of our shore league on very calm conditions at Carnlough and resulted in everyone having to "scratch" really hard for small fish. Here's our recorders report.
Venue: Carnlough 1800-2300
Tide/sea-state: Fished full flood on a flat sea with no weed/debris.
Species caught: flounder, whiting, coalie, codling and rockling.
This was very hard going on a cold still night. The fish came in fits and starts with the end pegs holding more numbers of fish.
