Our Federation is now a member of the Angling Trust. The insurance pack they send out is very good with lots advice etc. In particular this card on the dangers of contracting Leptospirosis or Weil’s disease. On open beaches it’s normally not a problem but when you are on an estuary or in around piers there is a definite risk.
