Saturday 26 August saw our shore anglers compete in matchday five of our shore league sponsored by Daiwa.
The venue was Carnlough and while conditions were OK the fish weren't there in the numbers that they should have been. This venue is usually won with fifteen plus fish in late Summer. Usually a big bag of dogs with a few flounder in the mix wins a zone but everyone had to work hard last night for very little reward, so those who managed more than a couple of fish done really well. Highlight of the evening was young Niall McCook beating most of the field including his Dad with five fish.
Here's our recorders report.

Our next outing is the NIFSA Two Day open which is open to non NIFSA members. The comp will take place 16-17 September with venues in Lough Foyle and Lough Swilly being fished. We currently have anglers coming from Republic of Ireland, England, Scotland and Poland to fish so it should be good craic. If you would like to take part please message the page.
