As seems the case in recent years cod fishing is still on the decline while bass seem to be about everywhere between Benone and South Down.
The biggest cod we had registered was 47cm caught by David Hagan in East Down, while there were some cracking bass about with two 60cm fish caught by Karl McCullough and Chris McCook in North Antrim. Mike Henry also managed a 59cm fish in South Down.
Top three anglers in the hunt winning cash were: 1st Chris McCook 103cm 2nd Mike Henry 93cm 3rd Stephen Hodge 86cm
